  • Project Director - Mall Experience

    The main duties of the Project Director include, but are not limited to the following:

    • Planning directing and responsible for managerial supervision of the project construction in all areas.

    • Responsible in coordinating and managing people, materials and equipment, schedules and contracts.

    • Coordinate the organization, staffing, and operational activities of construction.

    • Direct, coordinate and review the work plan for construction; meet with staff to identify and resolve problems; assign work activities; monitor work flow; review and evaluate work products, methods and procedures.

    • Work closely with Engineer and sub-contractors representatives.

    • Determine construction means and methods and the most cost-effective plans and schedules.

    • Supervise sub-contractors and monitor them contractually, progress and quality.

    • Assume any other responsibility delegated by Director.

    The minimum qualifications for this role are:

    • Has delivered at least one to two shopping mall projects in Dubai.

    • Minimum 20 years of relevant industry experience, including site supervision experience in administering and delivering large-scaled projects, in the Middle-East (preferably the UAE).

    • Good academic credentials with minimum of a degree in Architecture/Civil Engineering

    • Astute and level-headed professional with exemplary leadership qualities; good interpersonal skills; ability to handle extreme work pressure; and track-record of heading multi-disciplinary consultant teams.

    • Membership in appropriate professional institution(s) would be an added advantage.

  • Resident Architect - Mall Experience
    • Review and understand all project contract documents (drawings, shop drawings, specifications, etc.) with other site architects and engineers before construction activities commence
    • Lead the site architectural team in resolving design and technical coordination issues. Ensure that the contractors submittals to local ministries are carried out in a timely manner as specified in contract documents.
    • Prepare and manage all Architectural related written communications between the contractor, client and relevant sub consultants.
    • Liaise with and manage the client and / or the client’s project manager to ensure that the contract is administered effectively and is meeting their expectations
    • Liaise with and assist the Project Director with all architectural related matters.
    • Manage the Architectural team on site, including architectural inspectors and site architects to ensure that contract administration activities are being undertaken in a timely manner and in accordance with the contract.
    • Liaise with contractors technical and managerial team to ensure that all architectural construction activities are being addressed in accordance with the contract.
    • Review and assess contractors and sub-contractors pre-qualifications, inspect their showrooms, workshop/factory as and when required.
    • Lead all technical site meetings, and be responsible for presenting up to date architectural progress reports and attending all site meetings with contractor, client, sub-contractors and sub consultants to ensure that all technical construction activities are being managed in accordance with the contract
    • Lead the snagging procedure after substantial completion of construction activities have ended; ensure that a snag list is prepared based on defective/outstanding works for the contractor to rectify, repair and complete for re-inspection.
    • Lead the project closeout procedures as per the contract
    • Act on identified and anticipated risk items in a timely manner and escalate to unresolved risk items to Project Director


    • Minimum of 10 years relevant site experience preferably in UAE / GCC
    • Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, with professional affiliation and certification
    • Must have strong mall and retail experience
  • Senior Interior Designer - Site Based


    • Report to the Lead Consultant / Project Director / Resident Architect and Head of Interior Design for weekly progress
    • The role is to provide professional support for the Interior Design services during the post contract stage (site supervision)
    • Preparation and presentation of interior design and finishes to client and project team
    • Attends client meetings and records discussion through minutes of the meeting
    • Responsible for the interior design requirements and fulfillment of client’s needs
    • Review and respond to contractors submittals (shop drawings, material fixtures, etc.and ensure that all submittals are as per design / specification and local authority.
    • Respond to RFIs pertaining to interior design. Assist design office in answering design related RFIs and sit correspondence in coordination with Lead Consultant.
    • Conducts regular site inspections to ensure work progresses as per approved interior design.
    • Evaluate and give recommendation on alternative proposal; for value engineering.
    • Extensive knowledge base in finishes and FF&E and local market.
    • Managing the approval of site mock ups with the client and lead consultant
    • Attends technical and design coordination meetings, provides practical solutions to design issues and concerns.
    • Organize and implement a very efficient document control system
    • Ability to provide monthly reports.
    • Detail oriented person and must have an eye for design
    • Familiar with the local and international building codes, regulations, and safety codes.


    • Interior Design degree holder or equivalent
    • Minimum 10 years of experience and minimum 5 years site experience with a leading design consultancy firm and worked in a similar capacity
    • Minimum 3 years of UAE site experience with similar role
    • Experienced in hospitality and residential projects
    • Proficiency in various design software such as CAD, Photoshop, InDesign, Sketchup is required
    • Excellent written and spoken English and able to communicate clearly and efficiently
    • Strong command in executing the works as per the design have demonstrated skills in decision making
    • Comfortable in fast paced environments and can work under pressure
    • Good hand sketching ability to demonstrate ideas
    • Team management and leadership
    • Produce detailed design and construction drawing packages
