  • Senior Interior Designer - Site Based


    • Report to the Lead Consultant / Project Director / Resident Architect and Head of Interior Design for weekly progress
    • The role is to provide professional support for the Interior Design services during the post contract stage (site supervision)
    • Preparation and presentation of interior design and finishes to client and project team
    • Attends client meetings and records discussion through minutes of the meeting
    • Responsible for the interior design requirements and fulfillment of client’s needs
    • Review and respond to contractors submittals (shop drawings, material fixtures, etc.and ensure that all submittals are as per design / specification and local authority.
    • Respond to RFIs pertaining to interior design. Assist design office in answering design related RFIs and sit correspondence in coordination with Lead Consultant.
    • Conducts regular site inspections to ensure work progresses as per approved interior design.
    • Evaluate and give recommendation on alternative proposal; for value engineering.
    • Extensive knowledge base in finishes and FF&E and local market.
    • Managing the approval of site mock ups with the client and lead consultant
    • Attends technical and design coordination meetings, provides practical solutions to design issues and concerns.
    • Organize and implement a very efficient document control system
    • Ability to provide monthly reports.
    • Detail oriented person and must have an eye for design
    • Familiar with the local and international building codes, regulations, and safety codes.


    • Interior Design degree holder or equivalent
    • Minimum 10 years of experience and minimum 5 years site experience with a leading design consultancy firm and worked in a similar capacity
    • Minimum 3 years of UAE site experience with similar role
    • Experienced in hospitality and residential projects
    • Proficiency in various design software such as CAD, Photoshop, InDesign, Sketchup is required
    • Excellent written and spoken English and able to communicate clearly and efficiently
    • Strong command in executing the works as per the design have demonstrated skills in decision making
    • Comfortable in fast paced environments and can work under pressure
    • Good hand sketching ability to demonstrate ideas
    • Team management and leadership
    • Produce detailed design and construction drawing packages
  • Interior Design Inspector - Site

    The main duties of the Interior Design Inspector - Site include, but are not limited to the following:

    • Undertake site supervision duties of inspection and approvals for all site activities conducted by contractors to ensure general compliance of the works with specification and contract
    • requirements and when necessary cause to address deficiencies associated with the same.
    • Preparation of daily report on contractor activities, documentation of quality & progress of construction work.
    • Coordinate with the team both on site and head office to ensure that contractual obligations are met.
    • Coordinate all aspects of submittals, review and approvals against contract requirements and when applicable report and advice on deviations from the same
    • Initiates quality control procedures to all interior finishing works while providing preventive and corrective measures thru timely issuance of SORs, NCRs, and the likes
    • Coordinate as and when with client on all specialists participation related to the final acceptance
    • Assist in facilitating project close-out and handover process

    ​Minimum qualifications for the role are:

    • Must have a progressive and stable career with minimum 7 year experience in the same capacity at a relevant industry
    • A degree in Architecture or Interior Design from a reputable institution
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills
    • Working knowledge of building construction, materials, FF&E, electro-mechanical systems, testing, and
    • trade practices including basic HSE is required
    • Direct involvement in completion of hi spec hospitality or residential projects thru all finishing stages of the build program
